Against Myself

I return after a mighty brawl
Against the most powerful and frightening demon ever
Soaked in blood, a symbol of my victory
As I step back
I remember confronting the monster
Same eyes, ears, nose and hair
The monster was none other than I
You are your own obstacle
I have heard them say
But I never realized the truth in it
Until today
The shadow of the monster
That names itself Depression
Weakened my mentaliy
My inner war toughened
Aa the situation narrowed and squeezd me
But I fought back
fought back against the shadow
The shadow, honoured as the monster's pride
The monster just grinned
Spreading a chill down my spine
The palm of the monster pulled out a blade.
She called it a complex
A mental instability
Better known as
A feeling of inferiority
She came towards me, fury burning in her eyes
She shall destroy me no matter what.
But the above statement needs correction
For as the monster came aiming at my heart,
I pulled out my grand sword
The majestic blade was named "Friend"
With "Friend's" aid
I broke inferiority into two
The monster appeared angry for a minute
As her brain tried to summon strategies
Suddenly she looked up,
Eyes filled with tears (a crocodile's)
"I pity you, your life,
A life you live, one so worthless,
Life under a dog's foot"
she whispered
She filled my head with lies
Lies disguised as truths
Lies that conquered me
Lies about my world
Lies about me
Depression touched me
The situation fed the glutton
And it had grown stronger
My heart nearly gave up
As my inner candle
Named courage
Began to fade down the depths of my inner loneliness
But suddenly from somewhere a new energy
Filled my gaunt body
the body that had become pale
Suddenly regained everything it lost
A powerfull force of love
From every wonderfull being around me
Fixed my broken confidence
And lit my courage
It set my special sword into majestic flames
As I rushed towards the monster
One go, One splash of the deep red liquid
The monster was finished
But it had stained me with it's blood
The blood became a symbol-
A memory of the war
A sense of gratitude
A lesson of pain from experience

the moon is calling - a poem

the moon is calling...

Down the earth sat a girl aged 2 or 3

staring at a bright round thing in the sky

her eyes twinkled and she beamed

she knew the mon was calling

she stretched her hands to get closer

one inch...two inch... nothing seemed better!

the moon was alone in the dark room of light

her eyes were swimming in salty tears

the lonely moon with no friends was calling...

and she got near

no better

no stars only clouds of evil

how could the moon stay alone??

she jumped and jumped

tears streaming fast

the moon stayed but called

her bed came to notice

she was tired to meet the moon

she fell so drowsy and heartbroken.

she slept and unhappy dream about a moon with a teardrop

until the day dawned...

a jolly sun beamed at her

tears brimmed her eyes

realizing...

that the moon had died!

again in the night

to her surprise

she saw the moon

this time he was not lonely

but with stars beside him having fun!

inside- she knew the moon still called...

she is happy that atleast, he's not dead after all! :D

a poeam about an innocent li'l girl who thinks the moon needs friends to play with on a cloudy night. the nest morning when the moon had disappeared. she mistakened it to have died. but it returned in the night with stars. relieved that the moon had found some friends the gil stopped her tears from flowing ... but inside she longs to go to the moon.
